Flight day

The price includes transport, insurance and champagne that we drink and are baptized in. Everyone also gets a diploma to take with them as a memory. The meeting place is located at Angantyrvägen 39, Djursholm (the car park furthest from the church). The collection time during April is at 17:00, May at 18:00, June and July at 19:00, August at 17.30 and September at 16.30. We are back at the gathering place about 4 hours later.

We have over 30 years of experience in ballooning with a hot air balloon in different sizes from 2-22 people in the same basket. In our hot air balloons, we usually fly with 6-12 people.

Questions and answers:
Anyone can fly with?
As a passenger, anyone can fly with both children (from 8 years) and pensioners. We also fly with disabled and wheelchair-bound people.
How long do you fly?
- The time in the air is usually about an hour. With unpacking, preparations and the obligatory champagne, we are out for about 4 hours. The distance is usually 8-15 km.
How many can fly together in the same balloon basket?
- Up to 13 people in one and the same balloon basket.
Rebooking?
If you cancel the same day, you can make a supplement of SEK 500 if you want to fly later. 1-4 days before costs SEK 250 extra. In bad weather, we rebook to a new time as soon as we can.
How to be dressed to fly a balloon? Is it cold up there?
- No, at the altitudes we usually fly 150-600 meters, the temperature is only a few degrees colder than on the ground. Since it is windless in the basket during flight and the burner provides extra heat, it actually feels warmer up in the air than down on the ground. Dress like for a forest walk according to the temperature on the ground, preferably in soft clothes and rough boots, we might land in tall grass. Gloves are always good to bring with you as you may have to help pull on a rope while filling the balloon. Boots are recommended for morning flying as there is often dew in the grass.
