Enjoy the sunrise with breakfast and Bali coffee at a local warung before trekking Mount Batur by daylight and avoiding the pre-dawn crowds. Admire the beauty of the active volcano, explore the crater with its fumaroles, hidden caves and playful monkeys and ascend through the cool forest before feasting on a smorgasbord buffet lunch. This trek is for beginners and is suitable for children, teenagers and adults. See below for more details of the trip itinerary. Drinking water, torches, walking sticks and waterproofs are provided, but please bring your own swimwear and sun protection. Insurance Policy Our insurance policy covers all participants from 6-65 years old. We require children to be accompanied by a responsible adult. TRIP ITINERARY: 04:00 AM - 05:00 AM - Pickup time from accommodation confirmed upon booking. 06:15 AM - Enjoy a light breakfast while watching the sunrise from Batur. 07:15 AM - Trek up Mount Batur by daylight, avoiding the crowds. 08:45 AM - Enjoy a local Balinese coffee at Sunrise Point. 09:00 AM - Explore Batur’s main crater. 10:00 AM - Visit more craters and caves of Mount Batur. 12:00 PM - Feast on a mountain picnic among the volcanic steams. 01:30 PM - Start trekking back down Batur. 03:00 PM - Transfer back to accommodation.
