Activities for a 3 day family getaway in Ubud
Day 1
Day trip to the east of Bali
The day begins early in the morning with a 2 hour drive to Pura Lempuyang.
Once there, you first go to the 1st temple for a first great view through the gate of heaven. Then the approx. 2-hour ascent to the top temple begins, of course accompanied by a guide who knows the paths, keeps the monkeys away and can give you a lot of information about the individual temples and rituals. After the great effort of the ascent, you will be rewarded with the breathtaking view from the top temple and you can meditate together with the guide in the temple and then strengthen yourself for the descent.
After descending from Pura Lempuyang, continue to the nearby Tirta Gangga – the island's water palace. This place is a place to linger and relax - just right after this morning's sporting activity. The garden even offers public pools to swim and cool off in. In the complex you can take wonderful walks and further back in the park you won't find as many tourists anymore, but there are 2 quiet temple places where you can meditate again or just relax and enjoy your surroundings. Approximately 2 hours are planned for the stay. There is also a restaurant with traditional dishes right in front of the park.
Afterwards you drive to Virgin Beach, where you can relax on the beach. In the afternoon return to Ubud. The tour price includes the following services: Pick-up from the hotel in Ubud Drive in an air-conditioned car with your own driver. Entrance fees to the sights. Day 2
Flying adventure

Day 3
Day trip around Ubud
The day begins with the Goa Gajah elephant cave - a place with old Balinese works of art and a beautiful park area. In the temple complex, the elephant cave, with its demon face above the entrance, is the highlight. After looking around the temple grounds, you can take a stroll through the beautiful garden. It goes down a few steps, surrounded by a jungle-like green. On the way you will come across another small temple where, if you are lucky, you can even be consecrated with holy water by a woman. In the back of the garden you can also find quiet places where you can meditate.
Then it goes to the Pura Mengening. An 11th century temple which houses a fine collection of ancient statues. Pura Mengening is a place of calm that is surrounded by a spiritual power. In the nearby Pura Gunung Kawi, one encounters not only a classically Hindu temple, but also Buddhist elements. For example, you can visit the stone caves where Buddhist monks meditated. Gunung Kawi is also known as the tomb of the Udayana royal family.
At the end of the day trip, Tirta Empul is visited. Tirta Empul is one of the 9 state temples in Bali and is said to carry holy water in its springs. Even as a tourist you can perform a cleansing ritual here that is supposed to wash your body and soul clean. The tour price includes the following services: Pick-up from the hotel in Ubud.
